Nenni Delmestre
Born in Split, Croatia, where she lives until she turns eighteen and receives a scholarship to study abroad. In 1981, she graduated from Florida International University as a Bachelor of Science in Communications Technology and in 1984 as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre , both with high honors. Since then she directs in Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Venezuela and Macedonia. She has translated numerous plays from English, Spanish and Italian and published essays on theatre in Croatia and abroad. Almost all her plays have participated in national and international festivals where they have received numerous awards.

• 2012 – 2014 Program Director for the Festival of Croatian Drama for Children – Mali Marulić
• 2013 – 2016 Program Director for International Children’s Festival in Šibenik
• 2018/‘19/‘20 Member of the jury for the national Award Marin Držić for the best Croatian text.
